Street Haven is a feminist organization that supports women with fully integrated and diverse services. Women who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness, facing challenges with mental health, substance use, living in poverty, and wanting to enhance life skills will find a welcoming and inclusive space in which to rebuild their lives. The organization is comprised of Emergency Shelters, Supportive Housing buildings, an Addiction Treatment Program and the Learning Centre where women can access academic and pre-employment services.
The addiction services treatment program provides in-residence counselling, crisis intervention and group facilitation to clients for 90 days. Grant House supports women both from the community and from the justice system.
