Description des services:	Operates a 100-unit seniors' supportive housing building Owned by the District of Thunder Bay Social Services Administration Board (TBDSSAB) who manages building rentals Offers 24-hour on-site non-medical support services to residents, supported by the City of Thunder Bay

Admissibilité / population desservie:	Adults 60 years and older Must be able to live independently within an apartment and require intermittent partial support to perform activities of daily living Physician's form is required in order to access support services Support Services Program cannot provide adequate support for seniors with: history of severe alcohol and drug abuse causing a risk to self and others active psychological or emotional problems resulting in behaviour which causes a risk to self or others total assistance due to bladder or bowel incontinence physical lifting or transferring in order to perform activities of daily living health or medical problems requiring close professional supervision cognitive impairment resulting in inability to direct others to meet support needs or inability to meet their personal safety/security needs (due to minimal staffing and lack of appropriate locked exits and door alarms throughout building)
