Description of Services:	Functions as the governing office for the community; oversees all community programs, services and facilities Activities and services for community members also include but are not limited to the following: Child and Family Services provided independently under the direction of Anishinaabe Abinoojii Family Services Hospital services available at Lake of the Woods District Hospital in Kenora Ontario First Nation Policing arrangements through Wabaseemoong Police Station, Treaty #3 Police Services; Wabaseemoong Patrol Zone ph: 807-927-2085, fax: 807-927-2235 Provides the Whitedog Post Office Offers a Resource Centre which serves as a youth drop-in centre Provides a community water tower and treatment facility Participates in partnerships with Wincrief Homes and Miisun forest management Administers Mizhakiiwetung Memorial School for students from K-Grade 12 and the Wabaseemoong Independent Nation Day Care Centre Offers the Wab Shki Biney Seek Calai Health Centre Community members severely affected in 1960's-70's by mercury poisoning; federal gov't funding of $19.5 million announced in Sep 2020 for health facility for community members with mercury poisoning Services and Programs: Anishinaabe Abinoojii Sub Office - Child Welfare Authority Housing Department Infant and Child Development Ontario Works Health Centre
