Description of Services: Distributes sterile single-person, single-use equipment to people who use drugs and provide safer drug use education to prevent or reduce the burden of blood-borne infections * facilitates referrals to appropriate programs and services available in the community * Naloxone kits and overdose prevention training are also distributed to clients, their support person and eligible organization to prevent drug overdoses from opioids * promotes and provides testing for blood-borne infections such as Hepatitis C and HIV * provides needle disposal kits and a venue to dispose of sharps
