Description of Services: Academic and financial supports for high school students

Supports include:
  • Academic - tutoring in 5 core subjects, 4 nights of the week
  • Social - group mentoring for students in grade 9 and 10, specialty and career mentoring for students in grade 11 and 12
  • Financial - bus tickets for school and bursaries
  • Advocacy - Student-Parent Support Workers help build relationships between the students, parents, school and community staff
Requirements
Fees: Most medical services covered by OHIP * some fees for other programs * dental services - sliding scale
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Students currently enrolled in grades 9-12 and their parents living in the Regent Park and Moss Park
Application: Call or visit * no referral required * appointments required for some programs
