Description of Services: Voluntary, non-medical facility for people with a mental illness who are experience a crisis and not able to stay in the current living situation * alternative to hospitalization * services include:
  • crisis support
  • counselling
  • coping strategies
  • recovery planning
  • safety planning
Requirements
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: People 16 years and older with a self-identified mental health crisis * must agree to facility and program rules, and to working on recovery-focused goals * must not pose a health and safety risk
Application: Call Mental Health and Addictions Access Line for referral * all referring sources must fill out a referral form
