Most common conditions:
  • transfussions for thalassemia or sickle cell disease
  • infusion therapy (medications and blood transfusions)
  • liver biopsy, muscle biopsy, therapeutic phlebotomy, paracentesis
  • post electroconvulsive therapy (ECT)
