Description of Services: The Road 2 Recovery (R2R) Home program offers permanent housing to individuals living with a severe and persistent mental illness. The program is a cooperative living setting where residents, with support of staff, share the responsibility of managing the household. Household responsibilities include: - grocery shopping - cooking - cleaning and laundry Residents are encouraged to self-manage their own medication and if required, medication support is available.

Application: The review of all referrals to the program will begin within 10 working days of receipt from referral source. Priority is given to schedule 1 facilities (North Bay Regional Health Centre and Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care) as well as Community Homes for Opportunity residents. The referral process is an opportunity to assess for eligibility according to the admission criteria and to identify the level of need.
