Program: Respite and Renew: Caregiver Support

Description of Services: Short-term in-home respite for caregivers in need of support and relief from caring for a senior (55+) living with dementia. A trained PSW recreationist will provide in-home recreation activities to boost their physical and mental well-being while the caregiver receives a much need break to attend to their own self-care needs.
 
This program is based on the Butterfly™ Model, which focuses on the belief that a feelings-based approach will allow dementia client to thrive.

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Any family member in a “High Level” caregiving role, in a Low-income household, and no other in-home respite supports
