Program: GED Preparation Program

Description of Services: Provide the support and guidance needed to help you reach education and/or employment goals. 

Preparation courses to take the GED Test * full-time and part-time enrollment options available * offered year-round * upgrading in high-school level math, English, social sciences and science

GED Test is accepted as equivalent to the Ontario Secondary School Diploma

People with  transportation and child care costs may be eligible for financial assistance * 
Wrap around services to help address any immediate needs, such as food, energy assistance or a warm winter coat.
Requirements
Fees: No charge to participate in the GED Preparation program. The cost of the GED test is $100 and paid to the Independent Learning Centre
Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Local residents aged 19 years and older and want to prepare for the GED Test
