Description of Services: Clinic evaluates patients for implantable device therapy * devices include defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy (also know as a biventricular pacemaker)

Conditions include:
  • bradycardias (slow heart rhythms)
  • heart block
  • tachycardias (fast heart rhythms)
  • ventricular fibrillation
  • ventricular tachycardia
Requirements
Fees: Most services are covered by OHIP
Application: Medical referral required for most services
