  • Enables eligible individuals to be released from custody and supervised while awaiting trial
  • Identifies the availability of a surety
  • Provides neutral information about the accused at release hearings
  • Provides supervision of released individuals and provides referrals to relevant programming and treatment

    Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Individuals aged 16 years and older accused of a criminal offence who are not a threat to the community and qualify for bail, but do not have the finances or social ties to meet bail conditions
