Early Learning and Development Early learning environment reflecting unique abilities of each child and respects the importance of family * responsive, individual approaches to support all children and their families in their chosen learning environment at home, nursery school or child care, and transition to school programs
 
Inpatient Care Inpatient services at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital are a component of the Rehabilitation and Complex Continuing Care Program. Inpatient services are subdivided into three distinct areas:
  • Brain Injury Rehab
  • Specialized Orthopedic and Developmental Rehab
  • Get up and go: persistent pediatric pain service
  • Complex Continuing Care
 
Music and Arts Offer a wide range of art and music for children and youth with disabilities and their siblings, up to the age of 21 years * focus on self-expression and social participation through music education, music therapy, visual and performing arts * include Spiral Garden integrated summer program
 
Outpatient Services Services for children with cerebral palsy, acquired brain injury, muscular dystrophy, amputation, epilepsy, spina bifida, arthritis, cleft-lip and palate, autism and other developmental disabilities who are living in the community
 
Respite Offers overnight and day services for children from birth to the age of 18 * temporary relief from the physical and emotional demands involved in caring for a child with a disability * includes summer camp and March Break programs
 
Swimming Offers aquatics and swim programs 7 days a week serving infants to seniors, priority given to swimmers with disabilities who cannot be successfully integrated into other community swim programs * one-on-one support available to support those who require it for swimming safety * change rooms are fully accessible including ceiling lifts and ramps * pool temperature 33 degrees Celcius for therapeutic effects * programs include aquatic therapy, infant and child swimming lessons, teen stroke improvement, private lessons, aquafitness, adult lessons, and synchronized swimming
