Description of Services:	Provides and administers culturally appropriate health programs and services to the member First Nation communities Promotes overall health and enhanced quality of life for community members Offers holistic health and social services that combine traditional values and cultural beliefs with modern practices Promotes spiritual, mental, emotional and physical well-being through a two-week program at the Healing Lodge Oversees the development of a full range of promotion, prevention and intervention services Ensures the needed resources are available in communities Provides services in the Anishinawbe language whenever possible Advocates for members in accessing services outside the community Health Services Integration Fund (HSIF) Works as an initiative to support collaborative planning between First Nation groups, agencies, provincial ministries and Health Canada to meet the health care needs of First Nations people Focus is on mental health and addictions services, especially prescription drug abuse Services and Programs: Aboriginal Diabetes Initiative Aboriginal Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and Child Nutrition Program Aboriginal Healing and Wellness Strategy Aboriginal Healthy Babies Healthy Children Community Development Support Worker Program Community Health Promotion and Injury and Illness Prevention Community Wellness Worker Program Diabetes Nurse and Education Program Mental Health and Addictions
